About Us
In 1971, Jerry Boyd, having devoted his early career to large firms and corporate controllership, started a new accounting firm that better matched the culture and values he believed in. His goal was simple: to build a people-first firm where staff could pursue a career in public accounting while also leading a balanced and fulfilling family life. Randy Pinegar joined his firm in the summer of 1993 and by 1998 had been admitted into the partnership.
By 2001, Jerry and Randy had become very close and saw an opportunity to continue the vision Jerry had so many years earlier. From those conversations came a new firm, Boyd, Pinegar, & Associates, P.C. Jerry has since passed the baton of leadership on to Randy, though he remains active in the firm. At our core, we remain an organization that is focused on people — the success of both our clients and our employees.
At Boyd, Pinegar, & Associates, P.C., our depth and breadth of knowledge, combined with the commitment of partner-level involvement on all engagements, gives us a distinct advantage over other firms. Our clients consistently comment on our commitment to forging lasting relationships. We understand that quality client service begins with genuine care for people.
We take pride in our reputation for excellence. The firm consistently receives high marks during peer reviews. These reviews are performed by outside CPA firms and are a glowing example of our firm's continuing commitment to excellence in all areas of our practice.
At Boyd, Pinegar, & Associates, P.C., it is our desire to be more than simply a means to compliance. We seek to deliver real value with every client interaction. We strive to be proactive in exploring and discussing new opportunities with our clients rather than merely responding to questions. We hope to provide clarity and insight to decision-makers.
